Development Team

Formally the A team, the club have changed the name of the team to 'Development' as it more accurately reflects our ambitions. The Development team is the third of the club's adult SIL sides and the objective is the smooth transition of our elder age group youth players into men's football. This is achieved by liaising with youth coaches, players and parents, holding joint coaching and training sessions and gradually introducing them to adult football, which allows them to make the transition comfortably. To assist with their development, we have senior players of experience who guide and encourage the players as they take their first steps in adult football. The team is led by qualified coaches with UEFA B qualifications and ITFC Academy experience.

By continuing to invest in coaching and development we can watch these players continue along the Player Pathway, progressing to the first team and beyond.
